News Shoulder and Elbow Surgery wins SECEC Grammont Award

Huge praise for Schulthess Klinik: a research study headed up by Prof. Dr. med. univ. Phillipp Moroder of the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery department has been awarded the SECEC Grammont Award 2024. The award-winning study deals with an innovative approach to shoulder endoprosthetics, which incorporates the patient’s posture in the planning stage of endoprotheses for the first time.

The Shoulder and Elbow Surgery department of Schulthess Klinik can celebrate a major victory: they have been presented with the prestigious SECEC Grammont Award 2024 at this year’s European Shoulder Congress. Prof. Dr. med. Univ. Phillipp Moroder, Senior Consultant in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, accepted the prize for the best paper in the field of shoulder endoprosthetics.
