News “Top specialist hospital for orthopaedics again in 2024”
Schulthess Klinik has come out on top in the “Top Specialist Hospitals in Switzerland” list for the second time in a row, taking first place for orthopaedics. To compile the ranking, the Handelszeitung newspaper and market research provider Statista assessed hospitals in Switzerland.
The best hospitals in Switzerland were ranked in eight specialist fields again this year.
The ranking is based on three sources of data:
- A national online survey completed by medical experts
- Patient evaluations based on data from the National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics (ANQ)
- Medical KPIs, with the Federal Office of Public Health, the National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics
and the Initiative Qualitätmedizin being used for the analysis
The Top Specialist Hospitals in Switzerland 2023 ranking analysed hospitals in the categories of cardiology, orthopaedics, psychiatry, rehabilitation, cardiac surgery, neurology, neurosurgery and obstetrics. With a score of 91.39% and the most primary and secondary recommendations overall, Schulthess Klinik took the top spot in the orthopaedics category again for 2024.
