News 2nd joint shoulder conference from HSS, Charité Berlin and Schulthess Klinik

The second ever HSS-Charité-Schulthess Shoulder Conference is taking place on 27 January. The conference will see specialists from the HSS Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Schulthess Klinik join forces to share their knowledge with shoulder surgeons from all over the world in online training sessions.

The series of webinars is designed to expose participants to contemporary and practical solutions for the many complex problems that shoulder surgeons face. Sessions will be made up of talks and interactive symposiums. Evidence-based diagnosis and treatment are key areas of focus, with the goal of improving the quality of patient care and safety an ever-present objective. 

This second meeting of surgical specialists will concentrate on severe rotator cuff tears. Prof. Markus Scheibel, Prof. Philipp Moroder and David Endell of Schulthess Klinik will speak at the conference.

Markus Scheibel has a wealth of experience in shoulder and elbow surgery and is the Secretary and former President of the German, Austrian and Swiss Shoulder and Elbow Society (www.dvse.info). In addition to his clinical practice, he is also actively involved in national and international events, assuming the role of speaker and organiser.
